AsiaPop ComiCon Manila 2017 Day 2: Netflix Panel

There's a lot to expect from Netflix this 2017 with the release of Marvel's Punisher, Will Smith movie starrer, Bright, and fan-favorite Stranger Things on its second season.

The latest Marvel franchise to be featured in Netflix is Punisher, being given his own series spinning off from Marvel's Daredevil Season 2.

An exclusive clip was shown during the panel involving Jon Bernthal's Punisher in action. Different sequences were featured, displaying Punisher's various tactical ways of "punishment".

Definitely, by far, the best Punisher we have seen.

Bright is an upcoming 2017 American urban fantasy action crime thriller film directed by David Ayer. The film stars Will Smith as a Los Angeles Police Department police officer who teams up with an Orc cop (Joel Edgerton) in a world of both human and mythical creatures. The film also stars Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Happy Anderson, Kenneth Choi, and Ike Barinholtz, and will be released worldwide on Netflix on December 22, 2017.

In an alternate Earth where humans and fairytale creatures coexist, Human LAPD officer Daryl Ward (Will Smith) and Orc Deputy Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night, only to discover an ancient but powerful artifact that was thought to be destroyed and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.
